  • Will we ever be able to cure cancer?

I believe it is only a matter of time. This morning I was reading an article called: Anti-Cancer Superfoods: Do They Really Work? This article mentioned many foods that are good for cancer patients and people who are prone to getting cancer due to the genes they received from their parents.

Once again muscadine grapes were mentioned [...]

    Resveratrol, so much new info….

What’s all the fuss about? Is this stuff real or not?

For the past couple of weeks I have been seeing so much new information about this polyphenol, Resveratrol. There is no way I can post on all of the new information I find, so this week I am going to insert a good number of [...]

    Resvetatrol alone is not enough

    New Research on Resveratrol

As I mentioned in last weeks post on Resveratrol I have found that it takes a very concentrated amount of Resveratrol to be of any real benefit to our cellular health.

This week I have found that even a very concentrated amount of Resveratrol from just one source alone is not enough because it [...]

    More good news about Resveratrol

The more I study how to live longer the more I run across the natural organic compound Resveratrol.

    Another advocate of Resveratrol

I have seen a lot of studies done on why we age. I think today’s video sums up most of what I have found. It may be a bit biased, but I haven’t yet found any studies that disprove any of what this Dr. says in this video. It’s only 7 minutes so she [...]

Resveratrol – Pills or Liquid a major differance

The excerpt below is taken from extensive studies published by Oregon State University, Linus Pauling Institute, Micronutrient Research for Optimum Health, Micronutrient Information Center which states that the dose of the then tested Resveratrol supplement pills was from 10 to 50 mg of Resveratrol, that compares to the Liquid Resveratrol dose of “Rejuvetrol™ Patent-Pending Blend 1,290 mg”.
Much more information is posted on the linked web sites of these two companies.

    So what is the difference?

In this study it was stated that, “Resveratrol (RV) inhibits tumour initiation, promotion and progression which has mainly been explained by its properties in cell cycle control and apoptosis induction. …….”

What caught my eye in this study was that Resveratrol inhibits tumor initiation, promotion and progression. Since cancer is one of the main causes of premature death the fact that Resveratrol inhibits tumor initiation, promotion and progression seems to me to be three very good reasons to be adding Resveratrol to our daily intake of supplements. Resveratrol, Pills or Liquid

Yesterday I posted a 60 Minutes piece about how the Resveratrol in red wine, if concentrated enough, could possibly produce changes in our bodies that would allow us to live longer and healthier lives. They said that the pills they were producing would be ready for human consumption in our life time, maybe in 5 years or less.
Today I will show you a YouTube video about a Liquid form of Resveratrol that is available for human consumption today.

    Revseratrol from 60 Minutes

As 60 Minutes reported in January, scientists across the country have identified a substance in red wine called resveratrol that they believe might do more than just protect the heart, but could in very high concentrations significantly extend life by preventing a number of age related illnesses.
    Video attached [...]
